Garden, Lavender and Wildflower Tours

cooking class from €120 plus transport to garden

Umbria with its rolling hills its unique Medieval past, has a number of spectacular offerings for the nature and garden-lover from cloister gardens to lavender and medicinal herbs fields to areas blanketed in a kaleidoscope of wildflowers and foliage.

Wildflower season in the mountains generally runs from early June through the beginning of July, however you can enjoy beautiful gardens and cloisters from April to October.

After the cooking class, we recommend visiting the medieval cloister garden attached to the FAI Bosco di San Francesco. The visit makes for a wonderful afternoon constitutional after a cooking class. Located at less than 10 min. drive from Alla Madonna del Piatto, the garden is open for the whole year.
